Mrs. Elizabeth Juskiewicz
Hello Parents!
My name is Elizabeth Juskiewicz and I am your child's Kindergarten teacher this year. I have been teaching in the district for the past 19 years. I teach both the am and pm classes. I have my bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University. I also have my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. I have such a love for learning that I also have a multitude of hours beyond my master's and am working on a second Masters in Educational Leadership with Concordia University. I have endorsements in Language Arts, ELL and Bilingual education (Spanish). I try to instill my love for learning new things with your children. I want them to enjoy coming to school each and everyday. I want them to be proud of their accomplishments and work with me when setting their goals.
I also have two children of my own. My sons are in sixth and eighth grades this year. We have two dogs, two fish and two turtles. My family and I love to take walks with our dogs, ride our bikes and go to the library. I really think being a mom helps me to both understand and work with your children more effectively. I also know and understand what it's like to be doing the homework each evening and working with children at home. I believe my homework and reading expectations are enough to help your child progress, while still allowing for some quality family time.
I hope if you ever have any questions or concerns this year you will contact me at school (847) 824-1566 or via e-mail [email protected]. I am really looking forward to a successful year with the children.
